The State Attorney for the Tanga Region, Ms. Rebecca Msalangi, visited and presented an award to the Tanga Regional Commissioner, Hon. Batlida Burian, at her office in Tanga on July 27, 2026.

The award was presented by the Office of the Attorney General in recognition of the Regional Commissioner's significant contribution to the launch of the Regional Legal Advisory Committee, as well as her strong cooperation with the Attorney General’s Office in ensuring that citizens' disputes are resolved in a timely manner.

Additionally, Hon. Burian commended the Office of the Attorney General for publishing the book Mama Samia Doctrine of Law, noting that the publication reflects the vision of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, in strengthening the Rule of Law as a foundation for economic and social development.
