Legal Advisory Committee Launched in Manyara

Residents of the Manyara Region have been urged to utilize professional lawyers and legal experts to ensure their various legal disputes are resolved timely and effectively.

The call was made today, January 20, 2026, by the Manyara Regional Commissioner, Hon. Queen Cuthbert Sendiga, during the official launch of the Regional and District Legal Advisory Committees and a free legal aid clinic held in Hanang District. She encouraged citizens to take full advantage of the clinic to address their legal challenges.

Hon. Sendiga also commended the Office of the Attorney General for organizing these essential services for the people of Manyara.

"I wish to thank the Office of the Attorney General for providing legal aid services in Manyara Region, particularly in Hanang District. I am confident that our residents will find lasting solutions to their legal grievances," said Hon. Sendiga.


Ms. Neema Ringo, the Director of Coordination and Advisory Services from the Attorney General’s Office, introduced the program, highlighting the government's commitment to bringing justice closer to the people. She emphasized that the Legal committees and clinics starts its operational from 19 to 25 January 2026, and over 30 State Attorneys are currently stationed in Hanang to provide the services.

Hanang MP, Hon. Asia Halamga, noted that the district faces significant land conflict challenges, making this clinic a vital resource for the community.

Local residents who attended the clinic expressed their gratitude to the government for providing free legal assistance, noting that many could not previously afford such professional services to resolve their long-standing issues.
