The Attorney General, Hon. Hamza Johari, today, August 4, 2026, in Dar es Salaam, met with the management of the Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators (TIArb) to discuss various operational matters.

The management expressed its gratitude to Hon. Johari for his participation in the 8th TIArb Annual Conference and Dar es Salaam Arbitration Week (DAR Arbitration Week), which took place on July 22, 2026, in Dar es Salaam.

Furthermore, the management pledged to Hon. Hamza Johari to implement the advice he provided during the conference, including establishing an execution plan for the resolutions reached at the event, which brought together domestic and international arbitration and investment stakeholders.

Additionally, the President of TIArb, Advocate Aderickson Njunwa, presented Hon. Johari with a gift as a token of appreciation for his contribution to the development of arbitration in the country.
