THE OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL CAPACITATES NEWLY APPOINTED AND TRANSFERRED EMPLOYEES
The Office of the Attorney General has conducted an induction training for new and transferred employees to familiarize them with the functions of the Office of the Attorney General and the Public Service in general. The training took place on June 29, 2026, in Dodoma.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, the Director of Administration and Human Resources, Ms. Faith Minani, stated that the objective of the training is to enable the staff to properly understand their responsibilities, operational workflows, institutional culture, and Public Service guidelines.
“Through this training, employees will have the opportunity to be guided through the structure of the Office of the Attorney General, the responsibilities executed by our divisions and units, and they will learn various aspects concerning the Public Service,” said Ms. Faith Minani.
For his part, the Human Resources Officer from the President's Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance, Mr. Rocky Setembe, urged the employees to adhere to Public Service Laws, Regulations, and Procedures, including ethics, discipline, and the best practices for public service delivery.
“I call upon you to work in accordance with Public Service regulations and procedures, to perform your duties with discipline and integrity, and to prioritize the delivery of high-quality services to citizens,” said Mr. Rocky.
Additionally, the employees had the opportunity to attend presentations from various Divisions and Units, including Coordination and Legal Advice; Contract Negotiation and Management; the Government Communication Unit; the Finance and Accounting Unit; the Procurement and Supplies Unit; the Internal Audit Unit; the Planning, Budgeting, and Innovation Unit; as well as the ICT Unit.
The induction training on the Office's mandates and Public Service guidelines was attended by ten (10) newly employed and twelve (12) transferred staff within the Office of the Attorney General. The employees also took the Integrity Pledge, which will guide them to work with professionalism, honesty, and accountability.
