The Office of the Attorney General football team (OAG) kicked off the SHIMIWI 2026 tournament with a strong start, securing a 1–0 victory against the team from the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports.

The match was played at the CCP Stadium in Moshi, where both sides displayed intense competition in pursuit of victory. The only goal of the game came in the 52nd minute of the second half, scored by Michael Mhina after a clean assist from captain John Mwakalebela, giving the Attorney General’s Office team the lead.

This win has strengthened the team’s confidence and raised hopes of achieving success in the tournament, with players showing skill and unity throughout the match.

The SHIMIWI 2026 games, hosted in Kilimanjaro Region, are scheduled to be officially launched on 26 September 2026 and will run until 7 October 2026, across various sports venues in Moshi town.
