The Commission of Inquiry into Incidents of Breaches of Peace during and after the October 29, 2025 General Election, has met with the Attorney General (AG), Hon. Hamza S. Johari.

The meeting between the Commission and the Attorney General took place on January 15, 2026, in Dar es Salaam.

Key issues discussed during the session included the origin of the incidents, their impact on people, property, and infrastructure, as well as recommendations on how to prevent such occurrences in the future.

The Commission continues to hold meetings with various stakeholders, including victims of the incidents, with the aim of identifying the root causes and submitting findings for further action.
